Get Real Part

Description

This node displays the real part of a complex number.

Input

The node has the following input:

• Complex Number: An input from any node that outputs a complex number.

Content

The node displays the real part of the complex number provided in the input.

Output

• Scalar: The node outputs the real part of a complex number.

Example 

In the example below, the overlap between a Gaussian function and a superposition state of a harmonic oscillator is calculated. The Overlap node displays a complex number whose real part is displayed in the Get Real Part node.
