Get Imaginary Part

Description

This node displays the imaginary part of a complex number.

Input

The node has the following input:

• Complex Number: An input from any node that outputs a complex number.

Content

The node displays the imaginary part of the complex number provided in the input.

Output

• Scalar: This node outputs the imaginary part of a complex number

Example 

In the example below, the overlap between a Gaussain function and a superposition state of a harmonic oscillator is calculated. The Overlap node displays a complex number whose imaginary part is displayed in the Get Imaginary Part node.
