Single-particle transport

This exercise on single particle transport asks students to explore what happens when one tries to move a particle in the ground state of a potential from one location to another (in 1D). This is an excellent introduction to quantum control. Note that we also have further introductory material on numerical quantum computing and quantum control available upon request. We have also developed a nice introduction to numerical quantum calculations and quantum optimal control that you can find here.
